What we ate on our first date perfectly captured our personalities and reflected our relationship. It certainly wasn’t the most romantic date by any traditional definition–it was a standard BBQ pork deli meal in the 99 Ranch Market food court, followed by a simple petite dessert from a cheap Chinese bakery.But to Angela, Willie’s pure intention to share the delicious cake was charming and refreshing; and to Willie, Angela’s genuine enjoyment of his company and efforts made the experience fun and exciting.In the next five years, Angela and Willie made the most of their time together, whether it’s enjoying incredible travels abroad or within their regular day-to-day lives.Then, on September 26th, 2020, Willie surprised Angela with dinner after work at their favorite Japanese restaurant. At the end of the carefully prepared meal with her favorite foods was a custom dessert menu with the “Willie Forever Special” — leading up to his proposal (and decadent cheesecake)!Despite the chaos of COVID, their love continued to burn strong, and they were married on November 5th, 2021 in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family.
